President Joe Biden is proud of his administration’s accomplishments on climate and energy, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday.

Jean-Pierre’s remarks came in her first White House press conference following the president’s announcement Sunday that he would drop out of the presidential race as he endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the job.

Biden plans to address the public Wednesday night in a televised address. With the clock now ticking down on his presidency, his team and his allies are now reflecting back on his legacy during his term.
