Shelby Webb covers oil and gas for E&E News from Houston. Prior to joining E&E she worked at the Houston Chronicle for more than 6 years, starting as an education reporter before covering the energy transition and Texas electricity. She is a fifth-generation Floridian and graduated from the University of Florida. After graduation she worked for her hometown paper, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. As a recovering Florida woman, you can still find Shelby enjoying water sports and trying to find the best spots for crawfish in Texas.
